About Us
Work-the-Net is an evangelical Christian network headquartered in Pennsylvania. Having acquired tax exempt status in September 2022, we are pursuing a broad vision for aiding in evangelism, church unity and outreach, by being a blessing to neighbors, here and abroad. Through God’s love and by His grace, our goal is to improve lives at every level of need.
Operational Mission Statement?
Our vision and strategy statements (found here: https://wtn.life/strategies) come from 10 years of seeking the Lord. Yet how can we fully know the mind of God? “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” — Isaiah 55:8-9
Short of key passages like this:
“…And you shall rejoice in the Lord; in the Holy One of Israel you shall glory. When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue is parched with thirst, I the Lord will answer them; I the God of Israel will not forsake them. I will open rivers on the bare heights, and fountains in the midst of the valleys. I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water.” — Isaiah 41:16b-18 ESV
Short of core goals like these:
- To give glory to God — (Isaiah 41:16)
- To be a part of “Thy kingdom come” — (Matthew 6:10)
- Make disciples of all men — (Matthew 28:19)
How can anyone know the mind of God unless God reveals it?
So, as we begin this journey, WTN will honor the Name of the Lord by saying we just do not know. We step out in faith.
Like Isaiah of old, we at Work-The-Net say: “And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, ‘Here I am! Send me.’” — Isaiah 6:8 ESV
Personal remarks from the director
Credits: A special thanks must go to our leadership team (Kirk and Mike), our Web Graphics Developer (Bob M.), several at the CCGM ministry who directly and indirectly impacted us and others who donated and counselled us well before WTN became an entity.
These months of planning / rollout before our Lord have been a pleasure; Not in our humanity nor in human weakness, but in the Loving/Merciful hand of a faithful and true God. May our Lord see fit to bless this ministry as He desires. Words cannot express how His wonders fill us with joy. Lord help us to stay humble and service you alone.
